my birth story, well what i remember of it lol
went in for induction monday evening, had a pessery (sp?) at 8.15pm, ken left at 10pm, id been having a few pains since 9.30pm but thought nothing of it, by 10.30pm they really hurt, didnt wanna look silly so put up with it for a while, by 1am i was in agony so asked if i could have something, they gave me 2 paracetamol and said they were just prostin (sp?) pains and asked if it was my 1st, i felt a fool, i kept thinkin if this is just prostin pains and not labour im never gonna cope!!! then at about 2.30-3.00am i think it was i had some blood so they finally examined me and i was 9cm!!
babys heartbeat started to drop so they rushed me to delivery and told ken to come quick, i was sooooo scared, they were shouting to people to open the doors and that the foetul heartbeat was dropping, they monitored baby and called for a baby crash trolley, i was petrified, then ken arrived, after a while of pushing, baby got distressed so they needed to get her out, she was also back to back, i asked for gas and air and they said i didnt need it as i was nearly there, i threw a fit and they let me have it whilst they used the forceps and cut me, summer mae brandon arrived at 4.23am wieghing 7lb 2oz
the one side of her face was lazy like when people have a stroke, her one nostril closed, her one eye shut and her lip down so they were worried but it turns out they trapped a nerve in her face when they used the forceps as it was all so quick and slowly its all coming back, she is nearly there now she just has a bit of bruising and a lazy eye that they think will be fine in a few weeks
she was positive blood and i am negative so she had some bloods and i had another anti d, she is now on folic acid as she tested weakly positive for coombs but she will be fine

with mummy and daddy just after she was born (i look rough) and yes i have my nighty on back to front lol.....
a bit more settled and a lot of the bruising now gone.....
