Struggling to find boy names

We are really struggling to find boy names that go with the last name Skudder. I really like the name Oliver but it is very popular, and it doesnt really go with our surname. Names that end with S dont sound right like James Skudder, and names that end with a A or ER sound to repetitve like Joshua. We did like Zachary for a while, but now decided its not 'the one'. We would really appreciate your help. Many thanks.

Truthfully I think Oliver sounds ok with your surname you could maybe use a middle name too.

i think oliver sounds good with your last name too! Our little pickle will be called Ashton. My toddler is called Tristan and my eldest son is Morgan - good luck with choosing your name!

I really like the name oliver. It has been ruined for me by my neighbour throughout the summer shrieking 'OLIVER! Put your hat on!' But I kind of like it with your surname. Do you think it will get shortened? Ollie Skudder or Oz Skudder. I also like William Skudder. I think it needs to be a traditional name (but I prefer traditional boys names anyway). Don't forget he's not going to be called his whole name all the time.

Thank you everyone, after thinking it through, I really do like the name Oliver, so we are thinking Oliver Daniel Skudder. And as you've said most of the time he will be called Ollie. Thank you everyone for you help. xx
