I am under no illusion that I will escape these at all given I already have them from when I was growing when I was younger.

I was quite alarmed today to see some red marks at the bottom of my belly though. Surely I can't have them already? I keep inspecting them to see if they are from how I was lying in bed or something but they hadn't disappeared by the time I had left the house this moring.

 :wall:

I've got some already too. It freaked me out at first but the OH keeps telling me they are war wounds from having our baby and if it means that bubba is growing then he loves them. Men are so sad sometimes. lol. I have them on my boobs too. :-(

What about trying bio oil? you can use it twice a day through whole pregnancy to help.

I have them too already on my (.)(.) !!!
I'm 4+2 xxx

My friend used bio-oil from start to finish with her pregnancy and she has got no stretch marks.
Im going to invest in some at the weekend
x

I used palmer cocoa butter all through my first pregnancy and it helped a lot x

i have them too because of the bloating the are just hurrendous, i look 7 months preg just because of bloat, it makes me real self concious and i have to wear baggy clothes

I didnt get the 1st time round so was hoping to escape this time aswell. I know a lass who bought loads of bio oil and got loads of stretch marks, so i think if your going to get them theres no much you can do. On the plus side if it means ur going to get a lovely baby surely its worth it xx

I read in one of my books it doesn't matter what you use as long as you keep the skin moisturised. Apparently when the skin dries it causes the stretch marks. I am religiously doing it morning and before bed (well the OH is doing it have to make him feel useful.)lol

Good tip leanne, think last time i only used baby lotion, but not everyday only when i could be bothered haha xx

My mum has the worse stretch marks ever so when I got pregnant the first time I used bio oil everyday and it didn't do I thing I'm covered :(
Havant got one from my other two but there was no possible way I could of got more lol

I daren't look tonight when I've had a shower! I'm not 100% sure it is a stretch mark yet. I wouldn't be surprised if it was though cos my belly is massive now.

Lol, at least you have beautiful children to show for them :) xx

I think it's genetic. My nan had 6 babies and not one stretch mark, my mum didn't either and so far (touch wood) I haven't either. I thought I was getting one on my hip but it hasn't materialised yet. I have been dedicated to keeping my skin moisturised just to be on the safe side. Bio oil, cocoa butter - anything I can get my hands on lol x

I agree Princess, it runs in the family so ladies ask ur mums/nans etc xx

I lathered myself with an aromatherapy oil called expecting oil from absolute aromas online, you can use from 4 months, before that I used bio oil - but this is quite pricey reason why I switched.
Anyway,I put on 4 stone and not a stretch mark on me - so def worth being like an oil slick!!!!! xxx
