My boys got a stork mark, how long will it be there?

I had one at the top of my nose almost touching my eye til I was about 10, my brother had one in the same place but bigger when he was born and his faded and eventually disappeared by the time he was 3.

I can still see Cally's quite faint, but more so when she really cries.

Have to say though, I was looking at the photos in the sig to see if I could see what you mean and your little boy is sooo gorgeous. I thik he is one of the most handsome little guys I have ever seen.

Aaaawww thanks Beanie

It def comes and goes and like you say when he is upset its much darker.

This one he was about to cough so you can really see it

Reassuring to know that it will eventually go though, thanks Jade :D

My little one was born with a stork mark on his forehead, I'd never heard of them before but both my health visitor and midwife have said it should go when he's around 4 or 5 years old.

both my boys have/had these

matthews (11) has def faded you can only see it now if he is sweaty and hot ie been playing footie etc or upset and crying (not that that happens much now!!) it had pretty much faded by the time he was 4 but gradually got fainter before that.

adam has a much darker, bigger one which has also faded a bit already, but i am not worried about it as i am sure it will go the same way as matthews.

tbh i cant really see it in your pics only the coughting one, so i wouldn't worry about it.

Isaac's storks bites eventually faded and are completely gone now :D
