Hey hun, I had a 3rd degree tear and I'm now just starting to feel 'normal' down there. Still uncomfortable but getting there and my little one is 15 days old. I found them more painful once I got home from hospital (probably because I was moving about a lot more and didn't have the help of the midwives with the little one) but it does get better! Regular paracetamol & ibuprofen saved me, also warm shallow baths with two drops of lavender oil helped too xx
If they continue to feel more and more painful then get your midwife to have a wee look just to make sure they are healing ok. Congrats on your new baby too hun! Didn't realise you'd had your wee man already! xxx
hey hunny, i could walk "normally" after about 6-8days, and it stopped stinging when i p'd a couple of weeks later, as you know, i had a 2nd degree tear x x
