steady movers...

So me and jasper (my 1 year old) go to a baby group called 'steady movers' on Wednesdays, it actually terrifies me a little bit, its basically 10+ kiddies between 10months and 2 years, running/crawling around, nicking toys off eachother, pushing each other over and generally having fun

I just dont know what i will do with Jasper when i have the next one, i wont be able to take Jasper to an under 10mnth group (though i can probably get away with taking Ivy to Steady Movers) So i wont get to meet a few new mums and stuff like i did with Jasper

I have friends with little ones and we can never find a group that just fits everybody. Such a shame!

Have u got a friend or relative who would take him for an hour or so once a week so u can go to a new baby group? Or get in touch with the leaders, they are bound to have mums in a similar situation!

nope, only reasonable relatives live in Wales and Australia! Jasper has no local grandparents and i am still waiting for my friends to get on and have babies of their own

they are cancelling steady movers anyway, we have just been informed today - coz of the budget cuts.

start your own bump and baby coffee mornings, my friend did that when she wanted to make new friends as she has the same problem.
