staying paleo/keto during pregnancy

Hello!

OK I know paleo and keto aren't the same thing, but I am interested in hearing about strategies for sticking to either/both!

I have done a few whole30s and for the most part am grain- and refined sugar-free in my daily life. When not pregnant I don't eat dairy either... but for the past few weeks it feels like I live on dairy, sugar, and white bread. I can't explain how overwhelming the desire is for those things, and how repulsive food without sugar/dairy(cheese especially)/bread is to me right now. I know that the first trimester will be what it will be, but I am hoping over the next few weeks to shift back to the way of eating that I know makes me feel the best (and the way I like to feed my kids, too).

I'd love to hear strategies (and maybe even some favorite meals, if you want to share!) of those out there who have successfully stuck to this way of eating, especially during pregnancy. I really believe in it, given how I look and feel when I stay on track. Those whole30s have made me feel better than I've ever felt before and I would love to be able to get back to that. And my husband is interested in keto -- he's lived on sugar, carbs, and rum and coke since I met him so I REALLY want to run with his interest and start cooking that way - I just need some ideas and real-life success stories.
