It's all starting to seem real now. We sorted out all Ollys clothes when we found out we were having a little miss, sold all the blue and kept the unisex. Iv been buying bits of pink for a few month. My hubby finished building the fitted wardrobe in the kids bedroom at the weekend and I re-arranged all the clothes and toys and started to sort babies clothes in size order. Now iv sorted the bin bag we kept into sizes and washed the newborn tonight .. They are all on the
Radiators now drying. I cannot believe how small they all are. It's crazy xxx

I love seeing all the little baby clothes on the airer! I've just done my last load tonight. Just a few sheets to do and then the nappies.

I hate washing and folding clothes but that was the most fun few loads. Does make it all feel real!! Xx

Another lot out on the windy line :-)
Only 1 more load to go xx

Take a photo of the clothes lined up drying. I did that when I washed all of DDs newborn stuff. I came across the pic the other day and it was so lovely :).

Apparently there's chemicals and stuff on them to keep them fresh in the shops. Plus think about how dusty shop warehouses are and how many people handle them 🙈 I usually even wash clothes for myself before wearing them.

Yeah but once baby arrives you can just shove them in with everything else and do them as you go along. It's just at the beginning when you're doing whole loads of unused baby clothes (unless you're like me and just shove them in with your own loads - I use non-bio anyway so have just done bits and pieces as and when I've bought them). Baby skin is so delicate - I wouldn't put them in anything I hadn't washed first. Same goes for blankets, sheets, etc. X

I actually had to wash them two or three times before DS could wear them without getting an awful rash but he had super sensitive skin.
