Hiya wow what am I going to do with these weeks?! Had a lovely last day at work flowers cards millions of gifts,me and bean were spoilt::) so have the mw later today and a few visits to family and friends lined up. But im sitting here watching tele thinking what can I do? Got no more baby shopping to do either really I should be making the most of doing nothing but am usually a get up and go person xx

I am so green LucyAnn.... Am trying to convince my OH to let me finish early. I had planned on waiting until I was 36 weeks but really could do with finishing now...

Although baby stuff and room are ready to go I am so ready to give the rest of the house a once over and really do not feel I have the energy while I am still working....

Maybe try and take up knitting or something like that... Will keep you occupied... :) Also could have a romcom movie day.... Pamper yourslef and have a long bath... oh so many things I want to do besides work..... :)

I finished at 34 weeks and was bored stiff during my first week but I've soon got used to being off and its great! Not done a great deal, just got the house nice and tidy and been going out for lunch with my mum and stuff. It's just good not having to get up in the morning! I'm sure you'll find plenty to do x

Aww I will trade u have my mat leave for abit aha I mist be lucky cus my bump is tiny so dont really feel worn out or restricted from doing things I keep forgeting im pregnant until the morning sickness rears its head lol I would have felt ok to work abit longer,i wasnt being that productive but had to use my holiday days too as work cant carry them on to next year.

I think u should finish earlier poor you sounds exhausting :+( xx

I am now 40 weeks plus 1 and still working..... I moved everything from my office to home and diverted calls to home! Saying that I cant sit on computer chair for any longer than half an hour at a time or when I get up to walk I cant! Now here I am with lappy on my knee (not thigh lol) and watching telly cos I have lost all interest in work. I say do what you can now at the beginning of your leave with the shopping, visiting etc cos at the end you dont really feel like leaving the house much. Relax and enjoy, take naps and pamper yourself. If this is your first baby life will totally change (for the better) so enjoy yourself and your OH before baby comes xx

get some box sets of series and spam watch then, or go for a swim, or play computer games :p

I'm pretty lucky as I'm studying with the OU still and have an essay due in 2 weeks and the final exam 4 days before my due date so i've got lots to keep me busy! plus the house desperately needs a spruce and the babys room has barely been started. will trade these tasks for free time! :D

I would do something crafty - like some kind of needlework or jewelry making or something creative like that.

Thankyou ladies lots of ideas a dvd day might be on the cards soon then I just feel strange wud happily visit me mom n dad everyday but I dont eanna burden them or feel like they have to have me. Oh I would so love to buy millions of boxsets but wud feel guilty spending the money on meself instead of baby.
Will see if I can come up with something creative :6) I did used to drwa alot so perhaps could revisit that as a hobby :) thanks to you all .i bet soon enough I will be loving the rest just scared to get into a laxy rut x x
