Spotting Question

I know this may sound silly but what is classed as spotting? I have had on the odd occasion slight flecks of pink in my discharge sorry if TMI. Other half said this cant possible be spotting just thought i would check?

i think spotting is actual dots of blood in ur pants but if you are worried about anything give your midwife a quick call

I think it can be anything from slightly stained discharge to a little light bleeding you would probably know if it went beyond spotting and got really heavy. Also, if it's brown it's old blood and usually not a problem
