Spotting again...

I'm 5+5 today and I've started spotting bright pink discharge/blood. I'm so worried and freaked out as this was what happened in my last pregnancy and I ended up miscarrying anyone else had spotting and ended up ok?

Hey. Sorry to hear that but it doesn't necessarily mean it will end the same way. I had a heavy bleed with baby 2 and they turned out to be very very ill, ended up losing her at 15+5. I had a very very similar heavy bleed this time and assumed it would be the same thing over again but this time baby seems perfectly healthy. Problem is I had a bleed which is common but now have a big blood clot in my uterus which is prone to infections and therefore a concern. I know it isn't ideal but it could be worse as the baby is well at the moment, just have to keep our fingers crossed.

I have had two miscarriages. Both started with bleeding so when I bled at 8 weeks with my rainbow (I also lost Sebastian at 38 weeks as well the miscarriages ) I instantly started to assume I was losing another baby. Scans revealed that he was ok but that it was implantation bleeding and for two weeks i bled worrying and now tiny bean is called Ethan and is 2 years old. I hope you are OK xxx

Hello

I spotted at about 5 weeks pregnant for a whole week in this pregnancy. Got scanned and everything seemed fine. I'm now 15 weeks pregnant. I also spotted four times throughout the course of my last pregnancy and my daughter, although born 8 weeks early, is perfectly healthy. Good luck for your scan.

I had very light spotting in my last pregnancy which ended in a mmc, I'm pregnant again (6 weeks 5 days) so you can imagine the panic when the same happened last week and yesterday I began bleeding heavily and passing large clots (sorry for tmi!), I was freaked out and thought it was the beginning of the end, EPC scanned me this morning and I do have a large bleed but baby it totally fine in their little sac, if you are worried at all then call you local early pregnancy clinic. Xx
