Does anyone here sponsor a chid?

I have seen a few adverts on TV lately about sponcering a child in poor countries, for £12 a month.

I cant remember the website for it though

Can anyone recommend some good charities? I have googled it and found one called "salt of the earth" does anyone know if this is good?

Also if there is anyone here who does sponsor a child could you tell me a bit more about it? i hear that sometimes you will get a letter from the child? i think that would be lovely

Yea i was considering it, i dont give anything to any charities at the mo so want to maybe do this or nspcc

i can barely afford to sponsor my own kids.

Yes true !

Although some charities only ask for £2 a month so think i might do something like that ! just so i feel im helping/making a differnce!

I have been thinking about this, but at the moment I already pay £4 a month to my local wildlife trust. I used to work with someone who did this and she said it was great
