splinter

anyone know how i can get rid of a splinter? iv got one on my hand you know in between my thumb and first finger in the web bit and it blooming well hurts,

only thing i know of is geting a needle and using that obviously sterislizing first but i just physically cant do that so wondering if anyone knows of any other ways to get it out or can i leave it?

i mean it wont give me like wood poisoning or anything will it?

Tweezers or If I get a really bad one in the shop from flowers I shave it out......if you get a clean razor and shave it so it catches underneath and gets it....doesn't sound pleasant but it works.

Or try soaking your hand in warm water and then squeeze it or tweezer it out your skin will be softer and might be easier.

I always soak my hand in warm soapy water and gently rub the area around the splinter and it eventually comes out, sometimes takes a good 15 minutes or so but always works for me.

go to the chemist and get some epsom salts and bath your hand int there.. it wil come out your body will naturally push it out so if you cant get it out try not to worry

Apparently cabbage leaves can draw out a splinter!
