Is that stuff for severe heartburn and safe to take while pregnant?

I got gaviscon on prescription just before i left the UK. I just said that the other crap made me throw up.

hi ladys!!! i been taking gaviscon liquid and i hate it but it works, but i just wanted to share with you the fact that the pharmacist would not sell me the gaviscon chewy tablets as they work differently and were not recomended if pregnant. so please check before you take loads of them!

I think some pharmacists just make up and guess what they think is safe or not in alot of cases. My doctor prescribed me tablets for my hayfever when pg, but they wouldnt sell me them at the pharmacy :wall:

Sorry but I found the tablets truly revolting, I personally prefer the medicinie washed down with a glass of water. The tablets seem to weld themselves to my teeth :?
