Sore skin on tummy???

Just a quick question - on my tummy beside my belly button, my skin feels really sore. especially when standing up, it almost feels like its burning or tearing, its just in one area, been like this for about a week now, any ideas ladies??

I am quite big, probably look about full term, but i was huge with my first.

Any help on this will be really appreciated

At one point I also had some tender spots on my tummy, in particular if I recall correctly just to the left of my belly button. I concluded that it must be where the baby had been applying most pressure. Guess it didn't help when I walked into a door knob either! I was not a happy chappie at the time but it did go away - eventually. Try applying additional lotion and rubbing the area more often?!

Thanks for your response, how funny mine is just to the left of my belly button, its a nightmare!!, my friend who is a midwife said it could be the skin stretching and the sign of stretch marks coming (oh joy) , but i have my 28 check next week and she said to get them to check for obstretic cholestatis (i think thats how you spell it), i am so huge i don't think i will last 40 weeks!!
