Sorry have not been on over the past few days this week , it has been quite a rough week.
Just been to hospital for my 16wk blood tests, I was'nt on the appointment list so receptionists running around like headless chickens but finally got seen after about 30mins which seemed like forever because I'm frightened of needles. It took 3 attempts to get blood from me (nearly fainted and was crying after 1st attempt) and they say I'm going to have a matching pair of shiners on both arms. I asked the midwife about my 20 week scan date as I had not received one through the post which they said I would. She told me to go and talk to reception because I should have had one by now, so went to reception and she said the scan will be on 17th April, well my hubby cant do tuesday mornings so I asked to change it but she said I could'nt because they are completely fully booked. I am sooo upset by this as my hubby was so looking forward to seeing Roo again and also frustrated because if they gave me the date before I probably would have been able to change the appointment.
I am also a bit worried because the midwife only weighed me and took the blood for the spina bifida and down syndrome. I did not have any other checks and everyone else on the forum seems to have urine , heartbeat checked at 16 weeks. My next appointment is not until the scan when I'm 21wks 3days.
