so unfair - a bit ranty

saw a woman in asda today. her daughter punched the big brother. the boy started whinging a bit cause he'd knocked his hand on the trolly when the girl hit him. he said "but it's bleeding a bit" when his mum told him to "shut it" to which she replied " your nose will be too, if you don't shut up I'll punch it!"

NICE! and these people can have kids and I can't (easily) SOOOOOOOOOO unfair! why is it people like us wouldn't treat a kid that way (from what I know of you all) and some people have kids so easily they don't even realise how blessed they are. she sounded so scary and aggressive!

People like that shouldn't be allowed children and should be sterilised!! It makes me so mad when I see neglectful mothers. Scummy, horrible women!

Don't blame you for being annoyed. It drives me mad when I see the mum's in our little town giving their little kids in pushchairs a pack of crisps just to shut them up.

What I can't understand is why any arsehole can get pregnant but when you dearly want to have a child, be it naturally or adoption, it's an absolute nightmare and normally ends in heartache.

I dont get it either. I don't have to smack my kids because they have always had boundaries. They know what is acceptable and what isn't. My 10 yr old has started to give a bit of attitude but I am on it straight away and she knows she can't get away with it so doesn't push it any further.

I am not anti smacking, sometimes you have to have it there as a deterant, but I don't have to use it. But as for threatening to punch a child, that it unbelievable. How on earth do they think that child will behave to other children when an adult is basically saying that it is ok to punch someone. I would never speak to my children like that because I have a respect for them and they in turn respect us.

But Hannah your right, some people should not be allowed to have children, especially the likes of Baby P's parents.

thats what gets to me aswell... sometimes i think to myself i must of done something bad in a past life not to be able to get pregnant and then people like that just have them out and then do the above what u said ....

i hope so hun cause im ready for giving up at this moment in time and just going on the pill ...im on my first period since the chemical pregnancy and i never thought it would be this bad i havent stopped bleeding for 4 full days (which is not like me)i no some women bleed more then that on a normal period im just in pain and in a bitchy mood sorry ...

this may sound bad
but it brings to mind something similar that happened with my oh myself and our daughter who was 9 at the time we was in the bank. my daughter told my oh that she was going to steel the pen from the counter to which my other half replied and i will smack your bum (this is something he has never done ) i did not hear daughters statement and neither did the lady behind us and just heard oh, she shouted at him saying he should be in prison for what he said (at the time i thought whats got into you ?) i felt ashamed and he did not say anything to defend himself and we left the bank, when we got out i said why did you say that, that woman was really mad at what you said? he then explained to me what dd had said .
if i could replay time i would go back in and explain to that lady what had really happened. she probably thinks we are child beaters lol

that's completely different imo. you threatened a smack for "if you do" and the woman threatened to punch her son in the nose cause his sister hit him! I'm not going to say about smacking cause i don't think you can decide how to raise your children til you have them and also i was smacked and it didn't do me any harm but I'd say a smack on the bum is totally different to a punch in the face!

yes it is totally different ss if you thought i was making excuses for that woman i wasn't , what she did was so wrong . it just brought that back to my mind .
