Omg I've got a pain in my pubic bone it hurts so much finding it difficult to walk. It feel like someone has still toe capped me in the foof. Anyone else have this pain?? What do you recommend to ease the pain. Xx

Sounds like me, spd. Paracetamol didn't touch the pain. So got codamOl off doc. That for me dost work. Gym ball, sitting on it. And rest

I have had this on and off for about a week, but today i think baby has moved upwards as i'm not feeling the pressure down there anymore! x

i get this at night when im lying down, its horrible when im trying to turn over, its such an effort, and i hear something click !! didnt know something was there to click....... :)

xxx

Yep got the same! think baby is that low now that he/she is hitting my cervix and it hurts when they wriggle and kick! Ahh pls come now baby lol x

a nice hot bath hunni its the only thing that works for me x x x

Ive had this but has lasted 10 mins max each time x

my friend had same thing they said it was her pubic bone splitting gave her co-codamol and a strap thing to wear, she cant walk far either xx

yer mine the front bones, by my hips it hurts and clicks.
having a bath eases but only when im in the bath.
i was recomended for physio but the earlyest appointment they had was 29th may. fingers crossed baby is due 23rd may.
my co-codamol dosnt really touch the pain, gonna see what midwife says today.
but i swear a ball works for me.

hey hun

i have suffered this too but ony recently as i was bad for the whole of last week!! i couldt walk coz it felt like my pubic bone was gonna split in two!! baths helped ease the pain but it was stil there and i cant even lift one leg into bed anymore i have to both at the same time and i walk like i pissed myself :shakehead: but seen the mw monday and scan tues and they confirmed on mon baby was 3/5 engaged and on tues scan she said he had gone even lower as no meaurement cud be done on head and they said that is what is causing the pain!! so this baby better hurry up and come :) xxxx

my friends ball works a treat for her as well, so keep at that hun :) xx

I find a hot water bottle helps but a friend of mine who suffered it too swears by something cold, like ice packs wrapped in towels. I've not been brave enough to try that yet!

I was just about to post about this :)

Feels like someone has kicked my pelvis to piece's!!

I like my ball and that works, but I may mention it to the midwife this week as well if it doesn't ease.

Right now I don't wanna mention anything to any health professional as my birthing centre plan may go to pot, might just try to grin and bear it.

I also haven't pooped in a few days and wondered if that may have caused it!! TMI!!

the only thing that eases the pain for me is by bouncing on my birthing ball. It seems to completely take the pain away xx

Is your birthing ball a normal gym ball? And if so do you just sit on it and bounce?? X

yes, mine is a gym ball - 65cm. I sit as forward as possible with legs open and bounce. Its very effective xx
