Hi everyone,
Im a big lass and have started to get uncomfortable already, not sleeping etc and i start maternity leave in a couple of weeks so i was looking into something i can do to help me feel better and more energised.
I'm a plumber and so from the beginning i have been lifting and running around and very energetic (didn't feel like it) But my doctor advised i should leave work before i could leave for maternity, due to the nature of my job... but ive ignored him lol, So when i do start maternity i want to do something to keep me moving instead of sitting on my couch watching daytime tv.
As i have a high BMI i want to keep as healthy as i can from as early as i can.
Im not made to be at home i get bored really easily.
So i looked into fitness for pregnant women, i found Aquanatal Swim classes ran by a midwife for expectant mums to do some exercise in water--- this sounds perfect to me, i don't really like yoga or the gym but love swimming. So after a lot of searching i have found a class close enough to me and its on an evening which i prefer,
Its going to cost £4.10 a week. I dont think that too bad really... im very excited and have already bid on a maternity costume on eBay lol.
Have any other ladies been to these classes and what where they like? What do you do? Thanks xx
