we're not getting a real one... did that last year it makes a right mess! cat loved it tho, we bought a kitten in november last year and she was always climbing up the trunk lol OH can put it up and take it down... he'll be out of his leg cast by then bless him

Bet your LO doesn't like the fireworks though.. Mine gets all freaked out at loud noises, even my sneezing gives her the hiccups..

I love this time of year and always start getting excited around about now. My family think I am crazy, but there seems to be something good happening every couple of weeks.

Can't wait for christmas either, I usually start getting twitchy about the decorations at the end of nov but hubby won't let me put them up too early

Oooooh I love Christmas too - cant wait :cheer:

I'm also very excited about xmas - although our baby will be with us by then!!

Me too! I can't wait for christmas and I love Halloween and bonfire night! I hope Jonah won't be scared this year and I'm looking forward to see if the fireworks will set the baby off too (she doesn't move very much).
I'm always pleased to get the decorations up, esp the tree but then want them all away on Boxing day cos I'm sick of looking at them :rotfl:

lol, at least im not the only one, im guessing next yr will be exciting too cos bub will actually be here, can put him/her in a lil santa suit lol poor thing, and the year after s/he may be more aware of it so will be exciting too wooo

Mine will only be a few weeks old by Xmas but my hubby has already got it planned that this year Father Christmas needs to be left out a brandy and a mince pie...he didn't like my idea that you leave out milk and a carrot for the reindeer.

lol, he's keen, i thought i was bad doing it when bubs will be 10 months lol
