How cute are these?
Ingredients
White candy melts
Black confetti sprinkles
Orange icing
Black edible ink pen
Regular Oreos
Miniature Oreos
Cake pop sticks (Ebay, Hobbycraft, Asda)
Styrofoam block
Method
Directions:
1. Prepare the hats first. Separate Oreos and remove the creme center. The miniature Oreos can get a lot of crumbs stuck to the side of the creme center, so take a toothpick and scrape the surface off for a white edge.
2. Use some of the melted coating to attach the miniature Oreo to the regular size Oreo half and set aside.
4.Then attach the confetti sprinkle eyes by dotting on a small amount of coating with a toothpick and attach the sprinkles. Do this before the melt dries.
5. Draw the mouths with the edible ink pen and pipe on the nose with the orange icing and let dry standing in a styrofoam block.
ETA! To make the cake pops, buy some value victoria sponge from the supermarket and whizz in the food processor until it forms a dough. You may need to add a touch of butter icing to make the dough come together. Roll into balls and the refrigerate for at least an hour before making the cake pops.
