Is bad

Lost Sky TV, and we've made the national news. Four inches around my house, and it's still snowing heavily, due to not stop until tomorrow afternoon.

Totally snowed in now, and my Mum hasn't done her Christmas shop yet

How is everyone else?

oh no :( hope your ok honey! take it your staying put for christmas? poor you!

our's is slowly melting now, it rained a lot last night so think the ice (which has been even worse) so our's is back to normally practically, off out today as it's supposed to snow again later, it's just so unpredictable x

:( Oh no, what are you's gonna do?

It's not great here but not really any more settling from Sunday, mind you that was enough  I've been onto road service and they're ploughing ours today :yay: It should leave it abit more passable, still not chancing it though as if it snowed you could well be caught out :(

But it's drivable for those that aren't weak in the heart  I'm only a mile and a half from the main road and its clear so its not too bad :) My brother will take me to get the food and things tomorrow :yay:

We've only got a couple of inches here but the roads have been a nightmare... some people from OH's office didn't get home until nearly midnight yesterday and some stayed in hotels after work...

Glad you drove there when you could!

We had around 3 inches, its still here and all frozen now. It was minus 2 on our way home this afternoon too. We can get out and about as we threw a load of road salt down to clear the drive and surrounding road. We have useless neighbours who wont lift a finger to try to clear the road, my OH has been helping everyone!

We've started building an igloo in the back garden

We walked to the village and got some food earlier. :yay:

Oh thats good then :yay:

 @ the igloo

Did the sky come back on?

Nope not yet! OH says it's because the dish has lots of snow on it  Going to have a look at it in the morning.

Get the brush to it, thats what we have to do here

i'm so fed up of it! we've had about 6 inches and havent seen a single gritter  the roads are all impacted ice now, everyone's going sideways, even the man roads havent been done! i'm going crazy!!

I can now join in the 'snowed in' chat!! We rarely get the snow that baD because we're so close to the sea but this morning, wow! Watched one of our neighbours struggle to the end of his driveway, wheelspin for five minutes before reversing back in! It seems to have stopped snowing for now but with all the jackknifed lorries and lack of gritters I'm not risking it for a good long while this morning!!!
