started taking zyban..stopped with it before..but wont be able to take it for very long incase i get pregnant but im determined this time..so look out for my screams on the forum!!!

Zyban is some form of tablet to replace nicotine I believe - Is it better? I am using clear patches ... Well I say I am I was - Ashamed to say I hit the fags badly again after the week gone I'm trying to get my mind back to the want of stopping but feeling pretty down at the moment & finding the will power hard to catch!

Good luck to all of you ttcers who are also quitting. I just wanted to give you some encouragment.

I read somewhere that the toxins in ciggies form a sort of barrier around the egg to stop the sperm getting through. So after a few months of BFN's, I quit. This was towards the end of October, and I got pg in December (BFP New Years Day!). I still say that it was down to quitting the cigs, and also BDing every other day instead of every day.

Also prevents proper implantation of an embryo. All to do with the oxygen I think.

Which is why I should bloody wise up. I was doing REALLY well - This last week I have hit my 40 a day routine & kicking myself for it!

I ordered some patches yet I have a ciggy in my hand.

I'm typing this knowing I need to wind my neac in .. F F F

hi y'all thanx tor the encouragement!..wobbles have you thoought of contacting your local stop smoking clinic i found them really helpfull, and offer some good advice and encouragement...i say with a fag in my hand!!
if you go 3 times they will refer you for zyban..i found it really good..i dont even want a ciggy when i take them!!

Good luck everyone giving up. I don't smoke myself but I think your very brave and well done for doing it! Stick with it - the money you save on fags, you can spend on the LO (eventually!)
