We had a problem with Charlie being constipated with the SMA Stydown when we changed him over from C&G Comfort but we do find that the SMA certainly helps his reflux!
So the wording on the tin 'For Bottle or Combination Feeding' gave me an idea that if formula is supposed to be closer to breasmilk than ever before why cant different formulas be used throughout the day as you would when breastfeeding and suuplement bottle feeding???
Well we have started giving Charlie a bottle of C&G Comfort for his first feed in the morning and the prescribed SMA for the rest of the day and we are over the moon that he has returned to filling his nappy at exactly 8.30am every morning as before passes wind like a trooper (although as smelly as being completely on C&G Comfort) and seems to be alot happier whilst still keeping his reflux under control!!!!!
