Hi,

So this past week I've woken up to find my lo sleeping on his side quite a few times. I've just woken up to find him sleeping on his front practically face down. He's nearly 7 months but I still feel uneasy about him sleeping on his front.

Does anyone else's lo do this?
Do you turn them back over or continue to let them Sleep on front?
Is it safe at this age to sleep on front?

I flipped DS a couple times when I came in to find him on his front.

Then someone pointed out, if he's strong enough to roll onto his front, he's certainly strong enough to move his head if he needs to.

Figured that was a fair point, and left him to it after that.

Now at two he's a full-time-frontie. Guess he just discovered he was more comfortable that way. Xx

My eldest started sleeping on his front at around 7-8mths when he rolled himself over on his sleep. I just made sure he had plenty of room to move about and had no teddies in his cot then left him to it.

My youngest has been a tummy sleeper since he was around a week old! He ha terrible colic and fell asleep across my lap one day and slept for 2 wonderful hours so soundly that we laid him in his tummy in his basket for his next nap and watched him like a hawk. He could easily turn his head from side to side so that was that! Even now at 2 years old he sleeps 100% of the time on his tummy.
