My 20 month old is still in a sleeping bag- sleeps well and is comfy, but I need to get some warmer ones now it's getting cold. Before I spend all that money I thought I'd try to find out what everyone else does. One of his favourite games at the moment is getting into our bed during the day, tucking himself in and pretending to go to sleep so I wondered if he might enjoy having his own quilt, but is it too soon?

I still use baby type blankets as sleeping bags didn't really work for us. He kicks off his blankets so we have upped the war,the of pj's for now. He had a brilliant fleece onsie/babygrows but outgrew it and I also don't really like how fleece is after a few washes so I'm still on the lookout.

I'm not quite ready for proper duvets yet haha I think he's still too much of a wriggle/ gymnast in his sleep and don't want him to wriggle under.

This was suggested to me but a bit pricey. But has removable arms

Or I saw this

But if your LO is happy with feet covered, there's probably cheaper options!

THANK YOU MEL!!! Wow, the Jojo sleep snuggler looks perfect and I never knew it existed. Thanks so much how are you and your LO and bump? I don't come on here much anymore (I miss it!) but hope all well! When are you due?

I had the Jojo sleep suit for my lo when he was about 18 months and it worked well especially as the sleeved are detachable which is handy if you think they're too warm. I gave my lo a duvet just after 2 years old and to be honest I wished I'd done it sooner as he sleeps a lot better snuggled into the duvet and I think it's more comfy for him x

my little one is only a year old but he has never got on with the sleeping bags, hates being wrapped up! so i have always had just a blanket over him which he usually wriggles off , i have started using a small duvet type blanket now its colder but he moves about so much and even turns around it never stays on him, he doesnt end up underneath it though. I'm just putting an extra layer on him at nights ....

My 2 year old ( 2y 4 months ) is still in her sleeping bag, no pillow no blanket, she adores her grobag and she is such a good sleeper ( touch wood :)) that we don't want to change anything atm. I ll be following your thread as I am quite interested myself at which stage should I start making changes if she doesn't give me any signs herself...

Glad that helped ruby! Someone j
Suggested it to me but im still thinking it over as im a cheapskate... Also wondering if the second cheaper link would be as good?

We are all very well thanks, bump due January and not done one single thing so feeling a little disorganised though!! how are you doing?

Good to see you on here! Xx
