Hi guys,

My Mrs is 39 weeks gone and has had a smooth pregnancy until recently.

She has noticed some small skin tag like growths on her vagina. There are 4 all in all, flesh coloured and sausage shaped. The one of them looks like a piece of coral reef. Sounds silly I know.

She got scared that I would think she has cheated and got an std but I'm not that way inclined.

There's no leakage, irratation or anything. Just unsightly little tags of skin. She only found them because she felt them whilst cleaning herself. They've literaly came from nowhere.

Anyone else experienced anything similar? Doctor said it doesn't sound like we should worry (over the phone)

A friend mentioned she got these on her nipples while pregnant and they went away afterwards. Not sure about the lower area though. Perhaps she should ask her midwife, as I know nipple ones are related to pregnancy? Good luck.

I got one, not directly on my vagina but to the side, almost on my bum cheek, I think they are very common during pregnancy, I have seen a few girls on here talking about them too. If he makes her feel any better mine completely disappeared once baby was born

I got loads of teeny ones on my boobs and neck when I was pregnant but they all went away after the birth

Totally normal , just not for nice I had this with my first pregnancy and it cleared up afterwards . I was VERY self consicious about it though so be carefully what you say about it .x

if they dont go away after the birth they can be removed. my little brother used to get them occasionally and mum just nipped em off with toenail clippers lol. im sure the doc or nurse would remove them if she was unhappy with them but its worth waiting it out to see if they are just from being preg

Thankyou , so you don't think its anything I should be worried about? They came on quite quick, like within a week. It was a shock to find them! Lol. Thanks again, chelsey

No I wouldnt worry at all , other than the fact that I felt horrible about it it wasnt a problem. My gp had told me it could be removed if needed afterwards but within six weeks everything was back to normal .

they are normal i seem to have loads this time round growing all over my body i hate when i catch one and it get itchy

I haven't had any discomfort with mine, like Steve said I wouldn't have even realised that they were there if I hadn't had caught the one when drying myself. I just found it strange. I'm moley anyway and I noticed an increase in them, I've never had a skin tag until now, and I've also got one on my nipple too, I did have two but one just fell off lmao. Xx
