sitting up in his sleep...

jack has been sitting up in his sleep for a while now and i only realise when he falls and bangs his head on his cot! it sounds really hard and i run in and usually find him sitting up again! hes fast asleep and just sits there swaying back and forth! sometimes he can do it upto 6 or 7 times a night! ive had to lie him down again 4 times already tonight! its quite a funny sight but im worried about him hurting himself! i used to sleep walk a lot so do u think thats what this is.. have thought about those bumper cushions but he would just use them to climb out! any advice?

hi, we suffer from same problem. they can not climb out using bumpers. ours tie around cot bars so if mark tries to climb up them he just pulls them down
