Charlie will only drink his milk before naps and bed, which is fine I'm not too fussed on that, but sometimes after a little bit hell throw himself back and cry until i put his dummy in and try again with the milk a few mins later, he will drink it then usually with no probs. Also a lot of the time he will drink his milk with no fuss if he is lying flat in his cot, which I know is bad as can cause ear infections etc but its the only way he will drink it calmly and fall asleep peacefully x

Albert feeds in fits and spurts sometimes and needs extra winding after a few minutes of resting before he'll take more. Silent reflux is without vomiting isn't it? I've read on here that hiccups is a sign, does he get hiccups a lot?

Not lately but he used to hiccup loads, and lots in my tummy too. I don't really wind.him much anymore as he burps himself, and it always wakes him up from his drowsiness before his nap... X yes it is without bringing anything up

My LO has severe silent reflux & he used to do what you said about the bottles. He'd be screaming blue murder to get the bottle, really excited to get it & relieved when drinking but after a cpl mouthfulls he'd pull away & scream his head off & like you, the only way to stop this was to put his dummy in to calm him down then try again, alot of the time the bottles went basically un-touched. He'd go on & off like that the whole way through, at that time we didn't know he had reflux though, but when he was diagnosed it all fitted into place why he was so funny with bottles & loads of other things he did

xxxxxxxxxxx

He will drink the bottle, but will fight it at first, because he only has it when he goes to bed I am wondering if hes just tired, as soon as I lie him in his cot and let him drink it lying on his back he's fine...such a strange child never known one to only drink lying down x
