Okay, so what is that film all about then

I part played the PS1 game ages ago so thought I would watch it last night. And I'm still sat here not having a clue what was going on LOL. Were Rose and here daughter dead all along from when they crashed & the cop too and Silent Hill was just a version of hell? What was it with the kid that looked like her daughter? And that demon with the metal head - what was he all about? Any one cast any light on it?

was a good film, i got it for xmas aswell.
but it was just mucked in the head with the guy who was in the toilets.
