(Thanks to Kylie1007 for the link)

This was on the Harvest Festival thread and I just thought I'd bump it. I think it's a great idea to make a shoebox for a child with nothing else to hope for for Christmas. I've always wanted to do one but my school and church never did them.

I thought I'd repost as the time for them to be handed in is 4-20 November so gives people a month to do it :)

I got my shoeboxes from a shoeshop and they didn't mind that I didn't buy anything (I don't do shoe shopping... shoes don't interest me). I'm probably going to do one for a little boy and one for an older girl :)

Aww I clicked on the link and I've got tears in my eyes, it's so sad thinking some children only have this to make them happy

Brooke's School Does This Every Year.

We Usually Do One For A Boy And A Girl! Last Year We Did About Brooke's Age (7).

We Put In A Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Flannel, Soap, Pencils, Colouring Crayons And Books, Some Sweets And A few Other Bits And Bobs!

I Think It's A Great Idea

Leckershell, what shoeshop did you get your boxes from? I live in a little village and I don't think the expensive boutiques will give me one!
