sharp pains

about 1 hour ago i started getting sharp pains accross my ribs and stomach i was in tears where they got that bad

im ok now though any ideas what they could of been?

no idea but ive had pains todaytoo. i reckon it just comes with the whole thing altrhough ive never experienced anything like in my previous pregnancies.

Sorry to be rude ... but are the pains down in your pubic area aswell?

Zack used to shake his head from side to side while I was pg with him, crazy child. It was very painfull and the nurse explained that it wasnt serious. Hurt like hell tho the stupid cow didnt have any sympathy.

Might be baby pushing against your ribs as its growing alot at the moment.

just hit your OH everytime you feel them, it'll make you feel better

while your pregnant your ribs move up by 5cm to allow space for the womb..so thats most likely what it will be that is causing the pain..I get it too sometimes...the womb is so big so much must move out of the way for it...its bound to hurt..even though we hate it ..its worth it in the end though

Yeah does sound like the ribs moving, if in doubt hun call your midwife.

I still get that sort of pain every so often hun, midwife says it my ribs and organs moving for baby! Bloody painful though isnt it!

Yes like most of you I've been getting the old pain in the ribs as well, thought at first it might be my bra getting to tight, but every now and then the pain disappears, sometimes I find that rubbing the top of my belly just by my ribs does help as I think my LO tends stick his feet/head/bum in my ribs as well putting more pressure on mi ribs!!!Sometimes he does move and the pain tends to go away for awhile. Unfortunately he has no mercy for his old mom and is at it again today, so for now I guess I'll just have to deal with it !!!

Think of when you get tipsey when drinking alcohol... its just like that... but so much better! The midwife took mine off me because I stopped pushing lol
