School run rage...

I am a nanny, the eldest goes to a local pre-school so I drop him off and pick him. They come out just after the primary school does, when I walk down to pick him up I have the youngest in the pram, and I usually face a wall of mothers, prams and children coming at me. Does anyone move over to let me through? No! Does anyone say thank you when I stop to let them past? No! It would be nice for people to be a bit more considerate some times!

Some days I think I'm going to give up being polite to people when I deal with this. I used to say "you're welcome" but got in a big row once so won't do that anymore.

I'm the only person who says thankyou or acknowledges our lollypop man too, what's up with that? I have to poke my 9 year old and get him to say cheers.
