I went for my second scan a few days ago (first external scan). What a weird experience. My bladder was so full I thought I was going to wet myself
Finally got to see the flickering heartbeat. Such relief as I've been really stressed lately. It was really awesome to see.
Only niggle was that when I went for the second scan I was 7 weeks 1 day (I'm 100% sure of my dates) but according to their measurements I was only 6 weeks 2 days. Almost a whole week's difference. I'm sure I haven't got my dates wrong - does that just mean that our baby is a slower developer?
Going to the doc next week to get my midwife referral. Next scan is an eternity away - end of March only. The wait is going to kill me.
