Scan question........

I have my 12 Week scan this afternoon and wanted to ask if you're supposed to go there with a full bladder? I've read that they can see baby better when bladder is full. What has everyone else done??

i had my scan yesterday and i drank a bottle of water before, def needed to wee after lol! good luck!! xxx

I have a weak bladder at the mo, only had to have a couple of sips 10mins before and had a full bladder straight awat.

I think having a full bladder helps bring the uterus up above your pubic bone to make it so it can easily be seen in the scan. Hope this helps xx

When i had mine, the letter from the hospital advised that I shold of drunk 750ml of water, an hour before the appointment. this is so they can see the baby better.

They do recommend to go with a full bladder. I drank so much before I went I could hardly walk lol

For my 20 week she had to let me out for the loo 1/2 way through before I wee'd on the bed lol
