Scan Date

Hi Girls,

Those of you who have had your visit from your midwife, how long did you have to wait until you heard about the date of your scan, i'm now 11 weeks and 3 days and still haven't heard back from the hospital on a date for my scan....

I got my scan app within 2 weeks of seeing my doctor to say I was pregnant. Had my scan Monday and got first midwife app today! Think it depends where you live but I would chase it up today if you want the nuchal screening as this must be done between 11 and 13 weeks.

Thanks for that, if there is nothing in the post today I will get on to the hospital, I seem to come in between two districts, of which neither of them seem to know what is going on...Typical, good luck with your midwife appointment.....x x

I got my letter 10 days after seeing my midwife for the first time (I was 7+4 when I saw her). I'll be 12+2 when I have my scan so I'm pretty pleased with that. Ring your midwife hun, she'll know how she sent the referral to so might be able to give you a direct number to chase it up.

Think part of my problem was I got my dates mixed up and was two weeks further on than I thought so everything has been left a bit to the last minute, thanks for advice will have to get on their cases and find out whats going on...x x

Good idea. My paperwork got lost so ended up having to take my copy of the papers to the hospital so they could put me on their systems. Luckly my doctor had already booked my 12 week scan in advanced otherwise I would of had my scan at 14 weeks.
