Scampi?

i really really fancy some scampi. Just seen some on the telly AND I WANT IT!!

asked hubby to get me some from chippie on the way home.

it will be ok wont it? I mean its pretty well cooked and that is what the worry is with prawns isnt it?

its fine. only fish u musnt eat at al is swordfish and merlon (if spelt that right) as they have mercury in them.
Try to avoid shellfish, but ive had prawns the odd time and im now 5 days overdue!

normal fish (tuna, cod etc) can be eaten twice a week

Tbh prawns are fine, as long as they are cooked and if they're raw, just eat in moderation.

Im so glad someone mentioned this, even though im now in 3rd trimester!..I absolutely adore scampi and have been craving it for the past 31 weeks but have been that unsure whether to eat it or not..But now i know itll be fine!..Ill have to indulge next time i have a takeaway
