Saw my GP this morning

..and I don;t have sciatica, its pelvic instability. He pressed my pubic bone and I almost fainted, I actually cried out! The pain in my back is akin to sciatica and its really difficult to walk, going upstairs takes me ages!

Anyway, he prescribed me Diclofenac - when I read the data sheet it says not to be taken in the last 3 months of pregnancy then when I looked it up online it says that it can interfere with the baby's circulation AND may delay or prolong labour..wtf? So, Im not taking it!

I was so looking forward to some pain relief!

Your really not having a good time with this one are you!? it must be awful as your trying to enjoy this pregnancy with it being your last but baby and body keep throwing everything at you!

Just keep thinking baby will be here soon and hopefully youll be feeling fab again and be holding your LO. xxx

that's really bad that the doctor prescribed something you definitely shouldn't be taking! Is there nothing else they can give you?

I give up to be honest! Im just going to use heat and paracetamol every 6 hours and see if that eases it at all. I really dont want to take any drugs that might affect baby but to delay or prolong labour?! Thats crazy!
