She used to take at least 10oz each feed but today it's been a struggle to get 2oz down her, and then she threw most of it back up anyway. She seems fine in herself and is definately not ill, she just wont eat. She did take 6oz of juice though.

What could be wrong? :?

Ella wasn't very feedy when she came down with a cold (which coincided with teething), then her appetite came back with a veangance (sp)

Sorry hun I don't have any ideas but I hope lil Rubie is feeling much better soon. She could be teething?? Just keep an eye on her for any signs of dehydrtion, which I am sure you are doing anyway and give her a big hug from me xxx

eva is the same! she isnt drinking her milk much. i just started her on baby rice though, she will eat that but there is always alot of milk let now. she is chewing on her fists alot so i'm wondering if it is teething too

turns out eva is teething and has a sore throat, so a combination of both might be putting her off her milk. does rubie seem unwell at all? is she drinking her milk any better now? x

Brody is also being funny with food in the last few days.
I think he's just teething, although he's not too grizzly with it, he just doesn't want as much milk or solids :?

I think Rubie is teething too. She is constantly chomping on anything she can get in her mouth, and bites down really hard. She was crying the other day and I put some teething gel on her gums, which calmed her right down. She's still not drinking as much as she used to but is finishing at least 2 bottles per day and leaving some of the other 2. She isn't waking in the night so she must be getting enough. I asked my hv and she said becasue she has wet nappies and is gaining weight I shouldn't worry.

Lydia really went off her food for a couple of days before her teeth came through (her bottom middle two came through together - that's all she has at the moment). I mean she literally wouldn't eat a bite. I had to practically force 2 spoons of food down her.
Then when they came through her appetite came straight back.
So I would say definitely teething can cause lack of appetite.

Braydon has been of his food for like 3 weeks now - but thats coz of teething, last nite for tea i managed 5 baby spoons of food n a yougart woohoo
