Ring on a string :-)

Has anyone tried out this old wives tale?
Where u put your ring on a piece of string and if it swings your having a boy, goes in a circle your having a girl??

My mum done this to me when I was pregnant with my son (8 years ago), I didn't know what I was having I waited until he was born, but the ring on a string told us I was having a " boy, girl, boy". And strangely enough, i had a son

I done it the other night, me and my friend were mucking about and it came back the same "boy, girl, boy" and we done this a fair amount of times and still came out the same.
I done it to my friend who isn't married or even trying for a baby and it said she was having a girl then a boy, but kept saying the same each time, but know your meant to do this while your pregnant as it supposedly take the energy from your belly to predict the sex.

So I'm just wondering if anyone else has heard of this and tried it? What were your results? Did it prove to be correct?

I can't wait to find out on the 4th of July if the ring on a string is correct and we are having a little girl, or completely wrong and having a boy, either way we will b happy to be blessed with this miracle baby , still find it really fascinating

sorry to burst your bubble hun but it doesnt work. if you get someone to hold the ring and tell them to imagin the ring going round in circles if they believe they can do it it will spin, they will think its amazing but you will see there arm moving it, it will give you whatever result the holder thinks x
