Ring and thread test

Hi girls

Has anyone tried this...... You take a ring that OH has bought you and hang it on a bit of thread then dangle it over your bump, if it swings in a circle its a boy and if its swing side to side its a girl.

I did this with Ellis at 18 weeks and it said he was a boy! Correct!

Now the new bump is also saying boy!

Test it and see..... Ill be interested in results from people that know the sex already too!!

I did it, but was told to do it with hubbys ring and a strand of my hair.

But I was always told a circle was a girl and side to side was a boy

ooooo I read it on the cow and gate calender!

I couldnt remember if it swung in circles or side to side with ellis i just remember it predicing a boy

thought it was string and a wedding ring.

in circles ts a girl side to side its a boy.

mine i think went in circles and i used a needle and thread

yea we've tried this, and its always said boy but now its saying girl
did anyone else get told that it goes thru all your children not just the one your carrying, mine just swings side to side for ages then after a while it changes to circles, ma friend kerry did it when she was pregnant last and it went thru each of her kids changing from boy to girl and back in all the right places well strange.

but as far as i know its circles for girls n side to side for boys, we also use hair n wedding ring

altho a friend of mine uses needle and cotton and does it over your hand not over your bump, still seems to work the same lol.

I tried it using thread and my wedding ring and it said Girl. Also tried using DH's wedding ring and mil's wedding ring and each time came up girl. Only another 17.3 weeks before I find out if its true.

my auntie did that... said she was having a boy.......... but it's deff a girl.... i really don't think that stuff works

We used to play this where you stared at the string and 'willed' it one way or another.

So I think it tells you what you want (subconciously) to hear

i was convinced a boy before my 20 weeks scan did test and it said girl went for my scan and it was a girl so it worked for me

as far as i know and what sono said but she werent exactly that sure lol im having a girl. according to predictions and thread and needle test i done girl also.
