Heheheheheh... Not like I've managed it yet but hell I'm going to try!

The odds are well in favour of a baby.
Right now I'm pregnant. :cheer:
Enjoying it will help me and bub.
Worrying will NOT stop anything bad happening.

If I'm really worried I can get things checked by my doc - much more sensible than tying myself in a knot!

So......

Now that's dealt with - is anyone else excited about finding out what sex the baby is?

I love feeling the changes in my boobies, and I completely 'fess to ebay window shopping.

I want a baby sling more than I want a pram.

Most of all I want to enjoy this time, I want to live every moment of it and then if the worst happens I will at least have some happy memories...

I'm going to give my worry the heave ho...

Anyone want to join me for a shamelessly excited thread? :cheer:

lmao floppit, I keep trying to enjoy it, Im starting to now im getting further into it. I bought my chicco trio pram at 4 and half weeks  I just couldnt resist

Also i have got excited with the idea of buying all the baby bits again that i even went and brough some tiny nappies  They are so dinky compared to my big girls bum ones that are size 5 huggies :rotfl:

I am definatly going to find out the sex of this little one, I found out with both my girls. at first i said no im not finding out but my hubby says he needs time to prepare incase its another girl, Living in a home full of 4 women will be fun for him :D

I have around 9ish weeks till i find out cannot wait :cheer:

Gonna Try and join in with you!!!!

Made my next appointment with Docs its 17th August and I will be almost 9 weeks! only 3 weeks away!
:cheer:

For this I think you should get a special prize!! Yay to mad excited fun stuff!!!

Ok - I'm going to pick the challenge up (but I'm a beginner so not uber brave yet). I'm going to pick out the exact baby sling I want!

And I'm going to tell at least two more people today....#

then

lol I tried to keep the baby a secret for as long as possible and that lasted maybe 1-2 weeks and at the end everyone including work knew

The only people who i havent told properly yet is my 2 little girls aged 2 and 3, my 3yr old did tell me my tummy looks big and have i got a baby in it?? her teacher was pregnant so she understands big tummy = baby.

I think i will tell them maybe at my 20week scan.

I hope you have fun picking out your sling for you baby, its all exciting stuff :cheer:

MEEEEP!!! You said the word 'pink'!!

I'm figuring on a lot of second hand clothes because I want to stay home for as long as possible and if it's a girl that will mean PINK!!! YIKES!! I want purples, and lilacs, and (sssshhhhh) even blues!

I'm not fond of pink.....

Floppit i have seen a couple of them being used, Is there anything that would stop baby falling out say when u lean into the freezer department when ur shopping :rotfl: Thats what i think would happen. I think that they look so comfy for the baby though. I always used the carriers for my girls and when they fell asleep there head was in such an awkward postion.

Im not sure what im going to get this time though. I might look into the slings see how secure they are, Obviously being sold as a baby product they would be :D

I see people with the sitty up carriers and the head thing looks painful! Where I live it's very multi cultural so I also get to see plenty of home made slings - no head faff and I haven't seen a baby land in the frozen peas yet either!!

:rotfl: im gonna keep my eye out for the sling i think on ebay, and stay away from the frozen peas with it :rotfl:

I was day dreaming while trimming my front hedge that by next April I might be trimming the same hedge with a bundle wrapped to my back, and when bub gets older a little face watching me work over my shoulder.

I kid you not those little wrapped papoose bubs look so happy away in the land of nod while Mum goes about her thang. I spend my weekends in the car boot sales and food markets and the papoose versus lumping a pram about looks like a no brainer to me.

Uhmmmm... I just WANT ONE!!

lmao floppit well not long till you get to 12 weeks and should be able to do loads of proper baby shopping. Thats if you can wait that long. I put up my changing unit the other day  I got it for £9.99 from toys are us a pine one what a bargain,

I told my hubby i did it to get rid of box with the bin men :rotfl:

I'd better get my backside into gear!!

I haven't bought a damn thing yet. I think I might kick off with the sling!
