reflux babies and water ?

ok so leland was thirsty today and took down nearly 2 oz of water but , he was really sick ! twice ! wasnt pleasant !

so are u ment to add gavsicon to there water drinks too ? or is he just having a funny day , cant remember him being this sick on water before but he doesnt take it very often ?

Was it very cold water? Maybe it shocked his tum a bit? Poor Leland

I dont know about putting Gaviscon in water though as Eva is breast fed so I dont give it to her (except to make up the Gaviscon - only 15ml)

I used to give Santi a 1 teat with water. And i would warm it slightly.Never added any gaviscon to it. Used to give it him slowly.

Have to say i hated giving him water because it would make him cough and then sick. hope this helps

yeh i do leave a 1 teat on , and it was room temp , maybe just a bad day , he has been a bit fussy last few days

I found that my wee man was the same with water. In the end, he stopped taking water and it is difficult to get him to take any now.

I never put any gav in anything other than milk, so I'm not sure. x
