i have had virtually a symptom-less pregnancy

last night i had 2 strong pains in my tummy like period pains then that was it, nothing since. i am presuming they are either uterine stretching or the baby moving rather than anything sinister- would u all agree.

i have finally starting to relax and i really dont want to end up panicking and phoning the mw or end up having another scan...just wondered if u all experience this- especailly people who havent had symptoms- this is the first time its happened

thanku
ps today was my EDD for my first baby and so far iv held it all together- sorry to mention it, i feel like i havent acknowledged it unless i mention it, tho i know i am so fortunate to be here in second tri at this time, it helps alot and many arent so lucky

Hi

I Just wanted to say if you are worried about anything at all; just call your midwife. That is what they are there for.

I would say though that it is common to get a little bit of discomfort or slight pains when pregnant but do phone if you are worried.

Thinking of you on this sad day

i am sure your pains are totally normal i have had lots of little sharp pains over the second tri so far i think its just stretching pains - i sneezed the other night and nearly shot through the roof!

Big hugs to you today hun i know how you feel my first bubs EDD was 20th May i feel so lucky to pregnant now, dont think i would have coped if i hadnt got my little girl inside me now

Hi gerb, sorry to hear about the significance of today for you  Hope you and hubby are able to set aside a little time together and get through it ok.

I've also had a symptom-less pregnancy, first trimester was sickness and pain-free, but over the last couple of weeks I've also been having random twitches. Especially if I get up to quickly or twist myself funny. Also have what feels like a dull stitch on and off to one side. Think it must be quite normal and just things growing and changing in there as had midwife appointment on Tuesday and heard LO's heartbeat loud and clear. :cheer:

Take care of yourself hun,

S xxx

thankyou for all ur nice messages, i do have a mw appt next week- im just reluctant to start speaking to her as i think she would say its normal then i think id still worry and end up getting a scan...does that make sense- like at the mo its just in my head and stopped so i almost dont want to think it out loud as it becomes more significant and then i feel id have to make sure...however saying that if it happens again i will. i didnt know if it could be the first movements? as not sure how they would feel- tho im presuming its too early
iv finally finished editing our honeymoon dvd and its burning now so hopefully tonight hubby and i can sit and relax and enjoy it so its a nice day
thankyou all for ur advice, but if i get anymore ill definately call mw xx

I had very bad cramps and bleeding too at around 13weeks I think.

I saw a doctor right away as I was bleeding too, but the cramps were really really painful....and as it turns out everything was fine and baby is still good and strong in there! :) xx

Firstly, my 1st tri was virtually symptom free as I suffered absolutely no morning sickness and did panic a bit. At around 17 weeks I had exactly what you've described and all was fine at my scan so it seemed.

Secondly, I really feel for you today. I can't imagine how you must feel and although your angel will always be missed, I'm glad you're not alone today and you get to celebrate with another little tot in your tum  xxx

Hi gerb    just wanted to send you some of those really xxx

Well for starters that is a symptom in itself, those period like pains which can sometimes worry us ARE ur uterus stretching, don't worry I know how you feel, i was constantly looking out for sickness, nausea etc etc soon bubby will give u a give big boot to say "Don;'t worry Mummy Im still here bouncing away" you'll see ;)

x
