I'm finding it so difficult to dress my bump... starting to get to me a bit. I seriously need to do a shop, and don't want to spend a fortune as I've only got 12 weeks left until D-day.

Anyone know of anywhere decent to get cheapish clothes? I've had a look at New Look and there's nothing there I love (although I might just have to make do with something from there at this rate) and Adsa. They have a pack of 2 skater dresses which are just what I'm after but don't have my size! It's dresses and nice tops I'm desperate for.

TIA xx

Oooh, I had this issue the other week too.

Babyscotcher recommended this seller on amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=bl_sr...brandtextbin=Purpless+Maternity&node=83450031

Bought a couple of things from there and they are actually quite good. Fabric is thin but looks nice on. The dresses are a little too long for me (I'm only 5ft1) but may be better for a taller person. Very reasonably priced too.

I looked on pinterest for some inspiration and there was a few blogs detailing how to make your current clothes work for your pregnancy body - a quick google search may help too.

Other shops you could look at are ASOS, Dorothy Perkins or H&M?

I'll be honest I've given up and am now living in jeggings and long jersey tops. I try to tart myself up with a bit of bling or a scarf.

I'm having this baby in six weeks and I'm that huge I'd rather be comfy! I tried to look nice during my first pregnancy and I just felt like dresses made me look a million times bigger.

I've basically workwise gone with a stretch black maternity skirt from red herring and i can egt away with some of my usual tshirts as some were quite long and a couple of other maternity tops from H&M. Then i do similar at weekends but with maternity jeans instead of the skirt. I do have one maternity dress but always wear that with a cardi else i feel liekit make me look a bit too big, ooh apart from my £3 bargin dress from primark which was a maternity dress in the sale i found ages ago, again it's just really stretchy really but does the job and had compliments so can't look tooo bad :S

It is harder than i thought it would be though

Honestly just whack into primark and get some floaty tops and dresses in the size bigger, or even some dresses are meant to be "baggy" so i have gotten away with my size. Mega cheap so dont mind chucking after etc.

I have some H&M, New look and also Boohoo bits but really I havent put weight on I just have what looks like a football under my top lol.

I have 8 weeks left so now comfort overtakes fashion haha! I just stick on some nice jewellery to make myself feel better :)

I love Red Herring Maternity from Debenhams. I've got 1 pair of jeans and 4 tops, but I've needed maternity clothes this time around from about 24 weeks. Xxx

It's a bit easier when the weather is warmer I think. It can be expensive though.

Have a look for second hand stuff on ebay, plus Asda, Matalan and New Look all do cheap maternity wear ranges x

Purpless.co.uk have some lovley maternity/nursing tops! X

Asos dresses work really well for me. And I got a few things from h&m like jeans and leggings and tops. I am a dress person too - try the asos own brand ones out. I invested in a few Jersey ones for £20-30 and wear them with different cardigans to change them up! xx

Thanks everyone, I ordered a few bits off new look in the end, will see what they're like. Will have a look everywhere else too x
