Fake for us. what with alice, a cat and the fact we live on the first floor and don't fancy lugging it up stairs, it just makes sense to have a fake one.

I used to have a real one for years and then bought a real nice fake one in the january sales one year... cost a bomb but worth it... its too big for this room so its been stored at my rents. I bought a fake black tree last year for this place and its just not the same as my lush green one so from next year I will make room for it and have a more traditional one for when LO is here.

Fake. Cheaper, no needles everywhere and they're reusable! Lol. We've had our £10 Argos one 3 years now.

Real is the only kind! Annoying as hell with all the dropped needles and getting my arm pricked when I decorate it but christmas wouldn't be christmas without one :D

We always used to have a real one, one that reatched the top of the ceiling. I loved it.
But my mum got annoyed with all the needles dropping on the floor and also the cats and dog kept pawing at it and taking all the decorations off, also the cost of it every year.
So last year my mum bought a really nice fake one and weve got that on a stand so the animals cant get to it.
Especially the dog, because she used to be able to get all the chocolate decorations off it, and while we were out, eat all the chocolate of the tree and then puke it all back up again on the carpet witch my mum used to go mad about...I used to find it rather amusing :rotfl:

Usually real but fake this year as will be pushed for space with having the pram in the living room

I'm trying to convince OH to go for real this year - as next year Faith will probably destroy a real one but this year we might just get away with it. Lol.

Will probably end up with a fake one though.

we have a fake one as when Seren was crawling I didn't want her to be crawling in needles, but I miss a realone. You can't beat the smell and the fun of going to choose one (and they are more environmentally friendly too).

fake.but we hope to go 'rescue' a real one once the garden centre starts selling em off really cheap and plant it in our garden for next yearso we can have a tree outside next year :D

real- its going to be a nightmare but you cant beat the smell :)

We alwasys have a real tree but this year we have bought a fake one cus of the baby/space/much cheaper

will miss the smell tho but wont miss the needles all over the floor x

We usually have one real (in the back room) and a couple of fake (one in the front room, one in the boys room and one in Lucys room  Yes they have their own little trees! ) but this year, with all then new items in the house lol like the pram and bouncy chair lol, we're just going to use the fake one and not get a real one!

Fake. Cause I want a white one, and they don't make them in real. :D

ive just put my tree's up, but ive not been able to decorate the main one as the blooming lights (that worked last night!) are not working and no matter what i do they will not work :x . Ive just sent OH out to get some more cheap ones.

Alice has a little tree in her room. It had pink angels (on sale in tescos!!), pink parcels and cream balls on it. But when i was trying to fix the lights she went in, took all the pink parcels off and unwrapped them all :wall: :wall: :wall: so now it just has the angels and balls.

I love real trees and will have one when we have a house but in my flat and have a fake one. Its not the same imo

We usually have real, but because Brian is away this time we are just using our fake one
