random email... any ideas?

I've just received the following email at an email address I don't give out but is on a law website I made a while back...

MY NAME IS NICOLA I WAS IN PRISON ABOUT 3 YEARS AGO WHERE I WAS IN FOR 3 MONTHS THEN 3 MONTHS ON TAG. I HAVE HAD A COUPLE OF JOBS SINCE COMING OUT BUT DUE TO MY TEMPER AND POOR IMAGE OF MYSELF I HAVE LOST BOTH. I AM STAYING IN MY BEDROOM ALL DAY SLEEPING AND AWAKE ALL NIGHT I AM TOTALLY DEPRESSED AND HATE MYSELF I AM NEARLY 24 AND FEEL AS IF MY LIFE HAS COME TO AN END IVE GOT NOTHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO. I DONT GO OUT SOCIALISING DUE TO LACK OF FUNDS AND ALSO LOW SELF ESTEEM. MY SISTER OFFERED TO TAKE ME OUT SO I WENT I DRANK FAR TOO MUCH CANT REMEMBER ALL WHAT HAPPENED BUT POLICE WERE CALLED TO A HOUSE WE WERE IN AND I STRUGGLED WITH THEM CAUSING SLIGHT MARKINGS TO AN OFFICERS ARM I WAS ARRESTED ON SECTION 89 2 ACCOUNTS. I HAVENT PREVIOUSLY BEEN TO MY DOCTORS ABOUT THE WAY I FEEL AS I THINK I WAS IN TOTAL DENIAL EVENTHOUGH I WAS TOLD BY MEMBERS OF MY FAMILY I HAD A PROBLEM. I NOW REALISE THAT I CANNOT CONTROL MY TEMPER I NEED HELP.

Should I just ignore it?

i would ignore it. Sounds far too random and it could cause a virus if you open it.

Its not clear what exactly your website did and if this kind of email would be normal?

If there's no links or anything that looks spammy, I'd probably reply giving contact details of organisations that could help and leave it there.

The site I had was sort of a law-made-easy sort of website, explaining to people what certain offences are, in easy speak if you know what I mean instead of police speak... nothing to do with reformed convicts lol. I've never had any emails to that email address before other than blatant spam, so it was just a bit weird really... I wouldn't even know what to reply and I'm not sure I should get involved.. it's not the sort of spam you'd get though and there was no spammy virussy things in it and it was from a normal looking yahoo email address

I think I'll just ignore it and see if she emails me again.

Id give her the email address for the samaritans. They deal with emails like this all the time.
