Quinny Buzz any opinions??

I'm asking for a friend who is expecting her first bubba, she has fallen in love with this pram! She would go for the whole kit - car seat, carry cot, rain cover, shopping basket etc etc etc

I just want to know what you all think of it, any major flaws?

its quite heavy and takes a lot of boot space esp with the carrycot!

but its a dream to push and i've had it through forests and shopping centres with ease.

Top tip, mothercares mid-range car seats fit the frame too, so no need for an extortionate maxi-cosi one!

Love mine mainly because it's really easy to push. I would say the downsides are:

• The carrycot doesn't have a bit where they can sit up (I didn't want to until about 5 months, so this was only really an issue for about a month because I then changed to the seat unit)
  The seat unit needs to be changed when they get bigger because the original one isn't deep enough
  You also need to use shoulder strap extenders when they're bigger
  They can only parent face in a half reclined position, so really when you start using it at 6 months they want to sit straighter to get a good nosey
  There's hardly any room in the basket underneath, and I like to shop

I know they sound like negatives, but I didn't really prefer any of the other ones at the time and I know there's newer versions so maybe they've fixed these things?

I only got rid of my buzz because it was so heavy and we live on the first floor in our flat. It was an amazing pram though. We never got the carry cot because we thought seen as the seat layed flat there wasn't much point. Wish I didn't have to get rid of mine! If we have another LO we will probably get the buzz or the mutsy 3 rider again!

i find mine a little wide, sometimes there isn't much gap when going through doorways.

Sometimes i struggle to handle it steering wise.

Not much room for shopping

I loved mine as a carry cot and travel system, but hated it once she was bigger and went into the seat unit. In fact, mine has been in the roof now for a couple of months as it was so impractical.

I loved it because:
The carrycot was nice and big
It fitted a Maxi Cosi car seat and it was so easy to change between car seat and carry cot
It was really lovely to push

I hated it because:
The hood on the seat unit was useless and provided no shade at all
It doesn't sit upright when parent facing, so LO had to face out when she wanted to sit up
The straps are really short (although they will send you extenders for free)
It is huge - it took up most of my boot and was really wide so I had probs in shops!
It isn't very good offroad as the little front wheel gets stuck in mud/sand etc!
The shopping basket is tiny, which is very frustrating.

I wouldn't buy one again now and I wish I had spent the bit extra on a Bugaboo, as I have bought 2 other buggies to compensate for the flaws of this one.

So far i love mine.

Only used it with carry cot and car seat in it as my boy still not big enough to go in the seat unit yet.

The carry cot part is lovely, my LO loves to lie in it with no fuss.

Its great to push too, very easy to manouvre.

We used it and I loved it it was really light and maneuvrable, except the only downsides I would say are that it folds pretty big so not ideal for car boots, and it's wide so not ideal for public transport/going through shopping doors.
I had the 06 model though and I believe the current ones are a bit smaller.
Was fab though. I only sold it to move onto a Quinny Zapp when he was sitting up properly.
Oh the only other thing thats a bit annoying is that nothing 'standard' fits, you know like standard pram toys, as the handle is too thick.

That sounds negative, but really I did love it I've not seen any others I would have preferred.
