Harley has never had colic ect i have no gripe water no car.

Harley is screaming with wind hes all scrunched up despo trying to burp but he cant. iv been with him for a hr now he seems in so much pain iv rubbed his back loads iv bounced him lay him on his belly, warm water.....

please help. what else can i try!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

poor thing iv never heard him cry uncontrolible before

try burping him but tipping him backwards quite far then back up again, it sometimes releases something. Or lying him on his back and flexing his legs up towards his tummy and back down straight.

Its the only thing I can think of till tomorrow :(

Hope it passes.

My gran used to do this with my cousin who had bad colic.

Put Harley tummy down on your arm, head in your palm and bottom in your elbow, and walk around with him like that. Kills your arm but helped relax my Seren when we tried it. Hope it works.

im trying what you have both advised.... THANK YOU

hes just had warm bath to ease the belly ache

Hi

how did he get on hun?
Katrina
I had the worse night ever. i really dont no how some mums cope with crying babies. im just not used to it. the screaming was ear peircing. i could not control him no matter what he was crying so much the first time iv ever seen tears from him.
i tryed every thing. in the end i had to call my friend to go get me some gripe water. then i sat him in a warm bath rubbed his belly and the hugest burp it lasted for about 6seconds. but thats a long burp if you imagin it.

and while i was panicing trying to give him so gripe water. i scrathed him by mistake he cryed even more and his head now has a cut

 Aww hun what a horrid night for you

did he finally settle for you?

Aww glad he burped in the end...it's a horrible feeling isn't it...Brody had a couple of bad nights with it, my mom would always say to make sure I winded him really well after every feed in the day, as a bit of wind can build up every time then at night they really suffer with it :(

Sorry you had such a poop night  How is he now? Has he calmed down a bit?

hi girls, he is still very uncomfy :(

im just shocked as he has never had wind i dont ever burp him after a feed he is fine and when he sits up he will burp. so last nigth was a shock

he finaly settled but all day he hasnt been him self.

he can be fast asleep then wake squeling and scrunching up.

then stop and fall back asleep. does this still sound like trapped wind?

he pulls his legs up to his chest and scrunches and grunts and pushs like hes trying to burp or pass wind.

hes not constipated

It does sound like he's got some wind that needs to be pooped out.

Maybe give him extra fruit puree today to help him poo a bit more.

yes it sound like wind to me... Ellis falls asleep then wakes up, Eyes WIDE open and moans and thats when he has wind still.

I try everything to burp him, Sit him on my knees and bounce him... bend his from side to side and forward and back .... put his chin on my hand and push on the bottom of his spine so he is straight and bounce my hand..... walk up and down stairs!! (that works for some strange reason)

as you can see from above he is a bugger for keeping his wind... this happens after every feed!!

hope harley feels better soon hun.. it is horrible when you just cant help them xxxx

i read somewhere about this cant remember where but it works..
lie him down flat on your bed and press on his lower abdomen gently but applying even pressure, then holding both ankles gently elevate is legs towards his tummy and back down to flat..then repeat a few times..if they have wind from the other end it should help them get it out!

hayden woke up about 5 in the morning with bad wind one night he was screaming the place down i tried burping him loads..even the laying down and sitting back up method which is usually successful wouldnt work..i tried that..he farted a few times and seemed much better!! that crying was the worst thing ever..the pain cry! it broke my heart!!

hope hes better now hun!
