putting fingers in mouth whenever i try and feed her.

when i try and give her breakfast she always puts her hands in her mouth & sucks them, while shes eating before she gets another mouthful etc.
she has her breakfast & then her milk i just dont get y she does it n if its just a phase they go through?
shes been having breakfast for about 3-4 weeks now, she doesnt do this when she has dinner though wich i find odd.
its just annoying as she isnnt really 'eating' her breakfast well she is but shes sucking it with her fingers in her mouth :S hope that made sence lol

It just sounds like exploration, I wouldn't worry about it or let it annoy you. Just let her take her time and enjoy it xxx

Lol Lizzie does this too and then smears all her food everywhere! Since we started doing finger foods she does it even more - I think it's cos she wants to be in control of where her food is. She's even taken the spoon off me a few times and tried to spoon feed herself
